Engineering (ICT) International Undergraduate Scholarship for 2008 offers students the opportunity to obtain an undergraduate qualification at UTS:Engineering. The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the student’s year 12 (or equivalent) results. The scholarship is also open to diploma holders.
Engineering (ICT) International Undergraduate Scholarship for 2008 covers 50% of the tuition fees commencing from the first semester of study for a period of four years. One student will be selected per semester and the commencement of the scholarship will be the same as the commencement of the student’s Bachelor of Engineering.Eligibility to apply:• A student who expects to complete the equivalent year 12 exam in 2007 overseas• A student who will meet the normal entry requirements for the Bachelor of Engineering -• A student who obtains an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with 6.0 in writing - http://www.ielts.org/
Engineering (ICT) International Undergraduate Scholarship for 2008 will be awarded twice a year for an intake for Autumn and Spring Semesters.
The application form must be submitted together with the International Coursework Application form to either a UTS representative or UTS: International.
The closing dates for this scholarship for are:Autumn Semester (February start): 15 December 2007; Spring Semester (July start) 1 June 2008.

Prasetiya Mulya Future Leaders Scholarship - Prasetya Mulya Business School
Prasetiya Mulya Business School was established in September 1982 with the aim to serve as an excellent center of learning for its partners: business entrepreneurs, professionals, and researchers. Prasetiya Mulya Business School awards up to two scholarships for full-time Magister Manajemen (MM) students each year.
The scholarship awards are open to highly talented and potential leaders with excellent academic qualities but financially disadvantaged. Preference is given to candidates who possess the necessary aptitude, personal qualities and interest in management.Two scholarships are available each year covering tuition fees, books and living allowance for a maximum tenure of 20 months.Eligibility Criteria• Indonesian citizen who can demonstrate leadership potential and interest in andcommitment to community and national development.• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any legally accredited Indonesian oroverseas university. A minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.25 (on a 4.00 scale) isrequired.•
Applicant must be under 30 years of age when lodging the application.• Preferably having a minimum of two-years full time professional work experience aftercompletion of the undergraduate degree when lodging the application• Preferably having International or Institutional TOEFL minimum score of 550 (paperbased) or 213 (computer based)• Not currently enrolled in a graduate or post-graduate program or school nor alreadyowning Master’s degree or equivalent• Not in receipt of other equivalent award or scholarship offering similar or other benefits at the time of the award• Pass Prasetiya Mulya admission screening process.

The Cowan Scholarship 2008
The Cowan Scholarship 2008 is offered to commencing students and is dependent on financial constraint. Applications are invited for the Cowan Scholarship from prospective students, and the applicants must be supported by either their school or the Rural Counsellor’s Network. Most of The Cowan Scholarship are awarded to candidates from rural or regional backgrounds.
The Cowan Scholarship will be awarded each year to provide up to three years accommodation at Roseworthy Residential College and will be used for educational purposes. Applicants need to demonstrate financial need and be able to provide supporting documentary evidence at the time of applying e.g. details of income tested Commonwealth income support payment such as Youth Allowance, Austudy, ABSTUDY benefits, or other details of their financial circumstances.
Applicants need to provide evidence of potential for tertiary study from a referee. The Community College Summit Initiative Program will provide funding for round-trip airfare to the U.S.; a living allowance during English language, academic, and practical training program components; tuition costs; a health benefit plan; and cultural enhancement activities. Students will be hosted in groups by community colleges competitively selected to participate in the program. Programs may be one or two years in duration and may result in either a certificate or an Associate Degree. Students are required to return home at the end of their program and may not transfer to a four-year U.S. academic institution.
Eligible fields:1. Agriculture2. Applied Engineering3. Business Management and Administration; Health Professions, including Nursing; Information Technology; Media; and Tourism and Hospitality Management.
To apply to the program, candidates must:
• Have completed a secondary school education;
• Have relevant work experience in the field in which they are applying;
• Have English language skills that provide a basis for enrolling in academic coursework following approximately 8 weeks of intensive English language study in the U.S.; and
• Submit a complete application (original one and two copies).
• Have an Institutional or Prediction TOEFL score of 500 or equivalent.
Applicants with Bachelor’s degrees are only eligible if they are applying in a field different from the field of their degree. Applicants with MA or PhD degrees are not eligible to participate.
The Fulbright Commission in Indonesia, the American Indonesian Exchange Foundation (AMINEF) is responsible for advertising the program and for recruiting and nominating candidates for further consideration. Educational experts in the U.S. will make selection and placement decisions for the approval of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
